Selenite is usually clear or white but can also be found in vibrant orange varieties and occasionally in yellow, brown, red of blue. Gypsum was formed by the evaporation of ancient seas and salt-water lakes. Desert Rose is a variety of gypsum that forms in the spaces between sand particles.
